Digital photography is a major factor in my life. I got into it over ten years ago and have been fascinated by how the whole field evolved – from interesting curiosity to fully mainstream today.

Currently, (and this is always changing) my cameras are a Nikon D90 and a Panasonic GF1. The last one is a Micro Four Thirds camera with interchangeable lenses. The GF1 with 20mm “pancake” f1.7 lens is ideal for light travel.

I keep busy with the camera club, photo restoration jobs, teaching digital photography classes and writing for the Perth Courier.
